Out&About WITH THE DSC

  *Formby Hall.Atherton.July
Mike,Pete,Dennis&Mike T after an abortive attempt to find the elusive soul of Blackpool decided to drop in at this venue.We got in about 10 and the place was busy with some good stuff being played.....A nice big wooden floor made sure dancers were kept happy..........Bob and the other dj's made sure the floor never emptied although once in a while it was quiet.
Great friendly crowd welcomed us and the drinks were priced reasonably.
All in all good atmosphere and well worth the visit.

*Monacos.Atherton.July
The DSC CIRCLE headed off to Monacos en masse to sample some northern and found it to be a good night out,busy socially but floor slow to get moving although once up people came on & off to their favourites and you have to realise what a big floor it really is.The usual stuff being played
not many dj's stretching themselves but the feeling was that's the way the regulars wanted it.Drinks reasonably priced and the venue itself great and lends itself well to our scene.
Good atmosphere and obviously very successful but for me a once in a while visit.

*Hideaway..Deansgate July
After barbequing at Pam&Phil's[Ta very much guys] MPDC ended up at the Hideaway,a mod type
venue that's been around a while at different locations.The floor is small and that inhibits dancers;
therefore you get spot dancing that doesn't allow too much movement.The music was a mix of r&b,british beat & northern.People were very friendly but the drinks expensive.We enjoyed the venue as it felt packed but Manchester prices for not enough out of the ordinary could hack you off.
All in all worth a visit if you've not been before.
